About us
We are a worshipping community of all ages and backgrounds. As a Church of England parish church, our special aim is to love our neighbours and to help them discover for themselves the love of God.
We try to do this through our public worship of God, through the love that we show to each other and through our involvement in the local community and our concern for each individual within it.
For details of our current services, click on the ‘Services’ menu item.
In our services we worship God through prayer, in song and in silence. We listen for His word in the reading of scripture and its interpretation in sermons.
Each week we are strengthened in God’s service by receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion which we also call the Eucharist.
Our music ranges from choral pieces and traditional hymns to Taize chants and informal songs of praise.
At our main 10.00am service we have classes for young people and a crèche.
There are all sorts of activities at the church, suiting all ages and tastes, including a book group, study groups and regular social evenings. For more details of these, click on 'activities' and 'events'.
