Why not give the choir a try?

The choir at St Matthew’s is a group dedicated to leading God’s people in God’s praises through the regular weekly worship.

There are no auditions and those who really want to sing (and think they can’t) will be given every help and encouragement.

You can learn new musical skills for free. It’s exciting, it’s challenging, it’s fun!

We meet at St Matthew’s every Thursday between 7.15pm and 8.30pm and normally sing with the choristers on Sundays.

Regular services are 10.00am at St Matthew’s - with a warm up rehearsal at about 9.15am.

Occasionally we have workshops and rehearsals on Sunday afternoon before a special evening service - such as a Carol Service. We sometimes put on concerts and get involved with singing outside church and the parish, including RSCM. Come and join the happy band.

Those involved in the training and welfare of children are CRB checked.
